Inaugural event set to take the world by storm

'Explore South Africa' (part of the Cape Media Corporation stable) are delighted to announce that in addition to participating and distributing our coveted March Edition at INDABA Durban each year, we will also be an official media partner for the inaugural and anticipated ‘Africa Travel Week’. 

Africa Travel Week will take place from 28 April-3 May 2014 in Cape Town at the CTICC and is set to take the African tourism industry and travel trade by storm. 

The event comprises of 3 co-located shows encompassing Africa’s inbound and outbound markets for leisure travel, luxury tourism and the MICE/Business travel sector; and is brought to you by the esteemed 'Reed Travel Exhibitions' - organisers of the hugely successful WTM events worldwide.

Shows are to take place as follows:

> IBTM Africa - Incentives, Business Travel & Meetings Africa 28-30 April 2014

> ILTM Africa - International Luxury Travel Market Africa 28-30 April 2014

> WTM Africa -  World Travel Market Africa 2-3 May 2014

The partnership will provide Explore SA and it's clients with valuable branding and exposure prior to and at the event. Explore SA will also be distributing the March Edition at the event to delegates and participants. The Explore Team will have representatives at all 3 shows (as well as INDABA) to further promote our platform and our clients, network with role players, decision makers, media etc and ensure that we get a first hand experience of this unique event. WTM Africa:

The inaugural World Travel Market Africa will take place at Cape Town’s International Convention Centre on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 May 2014. It will be the leading B2B exhibition for Africa’s leisure travel industry, bringing the world to Africa and promoting Africa to the world’s leading source markets. World Travel Market Africa is part of parent company Reed Travel Exhibition’s Africa Travel Week, which sees it co-locate with ILTM Africa and IBTM Africa across the week of 28 April – 3 May 2014. WTM Africa will attract exhibitors from all categories of the leisure travel industry within Sub-Sahara Africa as well as North African destinations, aligning itself with sister events World Travel Market, World Travel Market Latin America, Arabian Travel Market and International French Travel Market Top Resa. World Travel Market was launched in London in 1980.
