Video interview with Martin Wiest

Explore South Africa speaks to Martin Wiest, Tourvest chief executive. He talks about his company’s corporate social investment programmes that have an emphasis on the tangible.

At the 2013 Tourism Indaba, Tourvest showcased a project in which it had asked children from an underprivileged school in Cape Town to write one wish on a paper airplane. The company then created a mobile out of these airplanes, and displayed it at Indaba. Each day Tourvest and its customers chose a plane, read the wish and made it come true.
