Joburg July

Horseracing event to rival Durban one

Joburg July
Joburg July

Johannesburg will host its very own Joburg July in direct competition with the Durban July held annually in the KwaZulu-Natal coastal city. The event is set to be based on the same idea as the Vodacom Durban July and was born out of the belief that many people don't go to Durban for the event because there is a lack of flights and accommodation available.

The Joburg July will be hosted on 6 July at the Turfontein Race Course, the very same day as the one in Durban.

Horseracing will be the main order of entertainment but those who attend can expect the usual good food and music too.

Standard tickets will cost R200 per person (entry only) and for a VIP pass you can expect to pay R1200 with a full menu of food and drinks included.
