Protea Hotel Tyger Valley

Protea Hotel Tyger Valley is an extremely popular and affordable executive hotel with 100 rooms, two of them equipped for disabled guests. The hotel has just finished building its new multipurpose conference venue.

The developments included combining the restaurant and bar space to accommodate 120 people, as well as renovating the exterior of the hotel. The two indoor spaces are equipped with data projectors, drop-down screens and block-out curtains, and can also be used for social events and weddings.

The venue boasts a large deck with magnificent 180-degree views from the Drakenstein Mountains to Table Bay and the city lights below Table Mountain.

The new multipurpose venue is already drawing additional bookings to the bustling hotel, largely on the back of an increase of corporates and financial institutions that were basing themselves in the northern suburbs of Cape Town.
