The Auto Trader SupaDrift championship will return to the Dezzi Raceway in Port Shepstone on the 28th of June to prove their drifting chops to the KZN crowd, all under the veil of night. For the first time in the Dezzi Raceway history, the Auto Trader SupaDrift championship will take place in the evening.
Starting at 4pm and running into the night, you are invited to rally behind local drivers like Paulo Gouveia and Shane Gutzeit to help them bring the crown home before the series moves on to Brakpan for SD06.
The Auto Trader SupaDrift event will take place alongside the Dezzi Invitational, which will see 35 of South Africa’s top drivers compete in SA’s premier time attack circuit.
With 40 drifters flaring up smoke on the drift track and 35 drivers flying around the time attack, you’re sure of a riveting, sensory experience.
Says Ugu South Coast Tourism’s CEO Justin Mackrory, “We would like to extend our congratulations to the Dezzi Team who have always been pro-active with regards to creating events of such interest to the public, bringing in visitors from afar. Our unique offerings and events on the greater South Coast are really gaining momentum, and creating an increasingly off `top of mind’ mentality of where to go and what to do on the weekends. This is exactly what tourism sets out to do – showcase the best of the best and without the support of the community at large, this would not be possible. So here’s to an adrenalin filled event!”
Get your family and friends together and head to Port Shepstone between 27 and 29 June 2014 for one event you really can’t afford to miss.
