As the international travel industry descends on Cape Town this month for Africa’s largest B2B inbound and outbound travel show, WTM® Africa, exhibitors and buyers from Africa Travel Week (ATW) are looking forward to the exclusive, invitation-only, WTM® Africa Party at Shimmy Beach Club on 15 April 2015.

Comprising of three co-located industry shows; IBTM Africa, ILTM Africa and WTM® Africa, Africa Travel Week will be taking place at the CTICC in Cape Town between 13 and 17 April 2015. Africa Travel Week is Africa’s largest amalgamation of MICE, Business, Luxury and Leisure Travel sectors under one roof and all within one week.

Shimmy Beach Club is one of South African’s premier lifestyle venues, and ATW guests will have the opportunity to engage with international travel professionals and industry buyers whilst enjoying the beautiful Cape Town surroundings and excellent food and entertainment.

This superb venue is known for hosting Cape Town’s biggest parties during summer. However, the multi-purpose venue is also ideal for corporate use for day conferences, business meetings, glitzy launch parties or entertaining clients due to its clever layout and versatile breakaway rooms, decks and lounges.

Shimmy, centrally located in the V&A Waterfront harbour, near the CTICC, boasts two private meeting rooms, an elegant 220-seater restaurant, a lounge, pool decks, two VIP decks as well as a private beach and stage overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, and can host anything from 20  to 1600 people.

“Shimmy Beach Club is looking forward to taking part in WTM® Africa for the first time, and in our home town too! It’s the ideal chance to connect with our trade partners and showcase our relatively new, multi-purpose venue,” says Lisa Carey, Marketing Manager for Shimmy Beach Club.
