Two of South Africa’s finest golfing retreats, Steenberg in Cape Town’s Constantia Valley, and Fancourt, the Garden Route’s premier leisure and lifestyle destination, have partnered to offer a world-class golfing getaway.

The six night Golf Total package offers a taste of two enticing worlds, with three nights at the Steenberg boutique hotel on the historic wine farm, followed by three nights at the Fancourt Hotel on the fabled Garden Route. The package includes three complimentary rounds of golf; a bouquet of gourmet food and wine experiences; as well as rejuvenating Spa treats for non-golfers – making this an excellent value offer at just R10 200 per person sharing for the six nights. (Quoted rate valid from 1 April until 31 October 2013.)

Guests booking the package will be welcomed with a delicious cocktail on arrival. Breakfast is included daily, while a 3-course dinner (per person) at Catharina’s restaurant or a delicious tapas meal at trendy winery restaurant Bistro Sixteen82 will be a highlight.

Two complimentary rounds of golf are included per person, providing golfers with the chance to tee off at the 18-hole Peter Matkovich championship golf course that is distinguished by its unique natural terrain and environmental diversity, and conveniently located a short stroll from the hotel.

Also included in the package is a wine tasting and cellar tour per person at the state-of-the-art Steenberg Winery; courtesy shuttles to the V&A Waterfront twice daily; as well as complimentary transfers for guests within a five-kilometre radius of the hotel.

Voted Best Luxury Golf Resort in South Africa in the 2011 World Luxury Hotel Awards, Fancourt is a sought-after golfing playground, offering some of the best golf and resort facilities in the world. Its three famous Gary Player-designed golf courses were voted among the country’s 20 finest courses in the Golf Digest SA Top 100 Golf Courses rankings for 2012. Recently, Fancourt was singled out among the world’s 10 Best Golf Resorts on CNNGO, the online travel hub of CNN, for its world-class hospitality and golf offering.
